quickie update
ok, so it’s been a while since i’ve last posted. i’ve been really busy these days w/ my internship, bridal event planning (for my friend’s wedding), and FINALS (which are next week)! aaakk!
here are my brief beauty updates… not much, but whatever:
** picked up my preorder of kitty kouture dazzleglasses! woot woot!
** thinking about getting eyelash extensions (totally was against it @ first but might’ve found a place that is reasonably priced to TRY) — will post a review if it happens.
** urban decay “sin” eyeshadow primer is horrible!

cut me some choppy bangs
kinda like this *see below* but it wasn’t intended. i just wanted shorter bangs to sweep to the side (so it wouldn’t poke my eyes) but ended up snipping off too much w/ my thinning/texturing scissors. oops!
now that i found hyori’s hair w/ choppy bangs, i don’t feel so bad. lol

t.g.i.f.
today is one of the sweetest fridays ever — not because i had a great day, but because i had a rough couple of weeks; and now, it’s over! not only did i get really sick, i also bombed my dysphagia midterm (fyi- i had twisted up tissue-tampons in my nostrils throughout the exam…NO SHAME!). what really sucks is that i really studied for it but ended up running out of time. most of the class went over-time but i think i did worse than expected. i HATE essay exams because 1) you don’t always know what they professor is expecting (and the level of detail you need to provide), and 2) i hate handwriting! i get marks on my pinky (being left-handed) and i write slowly. it’s the computer age! let’s TYPE! (had i been able to type the exam, i’m sure i would have done better). OH – WELL.
i really should be more worried than i actually am, but part of me doesn’t have to energy to worry. i guess that’s a good thing. however, if i get a B- in the class, i won’t be able to graduate on time.
oh, and i also had a very disturbing session w/ one of the kids @ the elementary school i’m interning @. here are some phrases that came out of a 2nd grader’s mouth:
“Teacher, can I rob your stuff?”
“Teacher, is your husband in jail?”
“Teacher, is your baby dead?”
“Teacher, did you ever have sex with someone?”
“Teacher, can I bring a real gun to school?”
(WTF?!)
he also talked about shooting people. =( being around this kid was sad and frightening @ the same time. i reported his comments to my supervisor, and she (or i) will discuss w/ the school psychologist. i really hope he can get some help. (or what he really needs is to get taken away from the bad influences in his life!)
i think i will de-stress over the weekend w/ a lil bit of patron and a lot of bloomingdales. call me if you wanna join.

preordered my kitty kouture!
i just preordered 2 kitty kouture goodies today!
the kitty kouture line only has 2 products. dazzleglass (lip gloss) in 2 colors and a mystery powder in 3 colors. i don’t know how good the mystery powder is but i won’t be buying it because it’s a whopping $90! the dazzleglass is $28 and it comes w/ a brush applicator. (i’m a sucker for brushes!) i preordered the dazzleglass in both colors, dazzlepuss & kitty kouture.

as you all know by now, the mac hello kitty collection launches feb 10th 9th online and feb 12th in stores. hello kitty kouture, however, launches on march 5th.
if you want to go and preorder for either line, go to nordstrom – they do preorders there. the mac store doesn’t!
